Glimstedt Estonia continues its tradition of turning Christmas gifts into charity. This year, we are supporting the NGO Peaasjad to contribute to the promotion of socio-emotional competences in education in Estonia.
Social-emotional competences are essential key competences today, and are recommended to be promoted in all founding documents on mental health and education. The aim of the Peaasjad NGO, or peaasi.ee, is to provide thoughtful and evidence-based support to society in addressing mental health, in order to create a society where mental health is valued and cared for. As government funding has been minimal so far, Peaasjad NGO is working in partnership with Harvard researchers to bring these competences to the Estonian educational landscape, thereby contributing to better mental health and strong social cohesion.
Through our support, we wish to contribute to the development of a society where mental health is valued and cared for. This year’s donation to the Peaasjad NGO demonstrates our desire to support long-term initiatives that move society forward.
The support of Peaasjad NGO is part of Glimstedt Estonia’s tradition of Christmas donations:
We wish everyone a peaceful holiday season!
