Maria is a lawyer at GLIMSTEDT with extensive experience in the fields of employment law, commercial law and real estate and construction law. She specialises in litigation.
Maria has worked in the legal field for more than 10 years, most of this time as in-house counsel for companies. Thanks to this experience, she has a good understanding of how businesses operate and is able to see legal problems and solutions from the client’s perspective. Maria has managed the legal department and supported the management of several companies, including Verston, one of the largest road construction companies in Estonia. This has given her extensive experience and skills in dealing with a wide range of legal challenges.
Maria has also worked as a legal advisor to the State Defence Investment Centre, where she advised on public procurement and represented the institution before the Public Procurement Disputes Committee. Her experience as both a contracting authority and a tenderer gives her a unique perspective on public procurement and a competitive advantage over other professionals in the field.
